I’ve gotten to the romance portion and I hate that it was so fast into the book. Also the whole trying to figure out why these mortals are being killed bye god’s have kind of been pushed off. It makes me not want to finish the book because I was hoping that there would be a lot more slow burn.

I started this book and it was somewhat enjoyable and then she introduced her way too old love “interest”. It feels so creepy the way she speaks and talks about him in such a disgusting way. Almost as if he’s the victim of her twisted thoughts and actions. However he eggs it on by inviting her to dinner where she makes it obvious that hey…I have a crush on you.

The Dual POVs is hurting my head but the fact that they all connect is mind blowing. I really enjoy Miryems POV with her ice husband as well as Wanda’s unfortunate and hard life. I don’t really enjoy the princess’s pov as much because it was introduced later into the book. It was a bit confusing.

I should not be reading this book at 3 AM I’m genuinely scared

I should not be reading this book at night I can’t even sleep.

Okay honest opinion on this book so far. I have a feeling it's gonna lack communication and the whole feelings thing won't come into play for a while. Declan seems like a delusional person because he automatically thinks that Iris is in love with him when in reality she's trying to save both of them....maybe
