Handful of pretty blatant editing errors but we persevere

It’s getting interesting but in a way that makes me wonder if Offill puts too much stock in the news.

Hadn’t read this one since 2018. Borrowed a friend’s copy at the beginning of October and am giving up now. It’s got King’s usual strengths and weaknesses, and the aficionados who say the book is as rich as the 1980 movie have an insufficient, I think, appreciation for how special an event Kubrick’s movie is. Like putting a jet engine in a Dodge Magnum. Three stars for the novel.
