Laury Kerr is on page 266 of 367 of Nobody's Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice
I had to take a little break. Although while writing the book, Virginia takes little breaks, telling short happy life stories, this is too intense to read all at once.

Weelllll, we'll see how it goes. This is totally not a book that was on my reading bingo card for 2025, but neither was tRump dancing 🙄 on the roof of the freaking White House, but here we are.

This is a really good murder mystery/suspenseful book that has been sitting on my shelf for a while. Haven't been able to put it down!

So hard to read! Heartbreaking, and I just want to reach into the book and choke some of the characters!

I'm about 50 pages from finishing, and I just want to stop reading. This book is really annoying, in the way a bratty impolite child is annoying. I'll read a chapter where I think it's improving, so I continue, then that annoying bratty child is back. I've invested enough time now, so I'll finish. But, this will be a 2 🌟 read, at most.

This is another really excellent book by Liz Moore. After I'd finished God of the Woods, and saw this one on President Obama's list of great reads, I decided to try it. It does not disappoint. Totally different than GOTW, but just as good!

This book is so damned good, and I am dying to finish it. However, being on vacation with family makes it hard for me to read because I want to see them. It rates as one of my favorite books though. So, so good.

Laury Kerr is 25% done with PROOF: A Haunting on Birch Street
It's not really going anywhere yet, and the grammatical/spelling errors are very distracting. However, I'm only 1/4 of the way through, so I'll keep going.

This biography is so well written. Some biographies are just not enjoyable because of the style of writing, like Spare. Didn't enjoy that. Dave Grohl writes with humor, compassion, and the deep sadness you can feel when you read.

This is an AMAZING book. I do find I have to reread a few parts, at times. But, every time I start reading, I know I'm going to be reading for a while.

I can only read a little bit of this at a time. It wrecks me. It is a great book, but emotionally, it tears you up.

Did you ever start a book and realize, "I'm not in the mood for this book right now?" I have to try a different one, I'll be back soon.

I like this book! I started it while waiting for books that I ordered to arrive. My late mother in law read all of Box's books, and I can understand why. Suspenseful, unpredictable, and quick, easy reading.
