I have fantastic news. I have completed the “more important” tasks of writing a 15 page research paper and also endured the paralyzing anxiety of waiting for the grade of said paper. SO NOW I CAN GET BACK TO MY LOVE, ROBIN HOBB!

Loving thissssss. It’s combining the best bits of the first trilogy with Pirates of the Caribbean, in a way. SOLD.

Ah, the age old problem. To stay up far too late to finish a fantastic book, or be sensible for tomorrow? I’m giddy to face it again.

I empathize with fictional characters way too much, and it’s been a struggle to get through some of the more emotional points of this series. I still love it though- tears and all.

Oooohhhhh, this book is living up to the hype! Stopping for the night, so I don’t get nightmares.

Oh my godddd, this book is so insanely long, and yet I’m still extremely into it.

Oh and I’m finding the connections between this and Rebecca insane because finished Rebecca the day before starting it. Kismet!

Oh I am so so hooked!! This writing style is extremely pleasing for me, and I think I’ll be looking into Moore’s others works after finishing this.

Ps I love an investigative figure that hates rich people!!!

This is my first Kristen Hannah book, and I’m enjoying the writing a lot more than I expected tbh! I didn’t know what to expect from the plot at all, and it is hitting the emotional points so well without feeling exhausting.
