oooof the yearning and angst is so gooddd ☺️😋🥵

was the movie this heavy, this emotional turmoil one after another!?! woah, can't actually imagine having read this as a teen

it's not bad but it's not gripping either. the romance isn't yearning enough and the surfing doesn't really feel like a main character as it should

ooof, this is reading so YA, not like other girls. also, so far there's very little world building. I'm going to give it a few more chapters before I dnf but I probably will 😬

I get everyone gripe with this book! but I'm still intrigued to continue since I wanna see the og's make their cameo

I'm enjoying it so far, which I didn't expect since the reviews were so mixed. maybe cuz the conflict is so clear and the yearning is there

I'm a lil lost on what the plot/mystery is but it's so kooky I have to continue on
