Wow, this is really enjoyable so far!

Pretty good urban fantasy so far. The style reminds me a little of Hailey Turner's UF so if you are a fan of Turner's Soulbound series, this may be up your alley.

How's everyone doing? I'm in Seattle (so a "hot spot" so am hunkered down for the past week and a half, and will hunker down still for a while.)

Really enjoying this. Gala is tops with human/alien inter-species relationship stories.

I think this is the most "procedural" mystery I've ever read.

Wow, this really feels like a classic noir mystery (albeit more gay.) I'm impressed with the author's straightforward, economical writing style. (Although wouldn't mind if the romance wasn't fade to black...)

I really dig this series (and this installment. The author really hits all my buttons.

I started this when it first came out and for some reason couldn't catch on past ch. 1. Decided to try the audio and am really enjoying it! I must have been in a weird mood before...

This is very enjoyable so far!

I'm enjoying the audio book narration of this, but am past 60% and am wondering what the plot is... With an FBI agent and art thief, I had thought this one would be more plot-driven...

The plot "cadence" for this book reminds me of the adventure zone podcast- like a D&D campaign where the characters are moving from one plor- related location to another, with attacks in between.

That being said, I'm still really enjoying it. It's a fun read (or more accurately, audio. Narrator is great.)

Really enjoying this so far. It's different, and it throws you in the deep end (meaning it doesn't explain too much about the world) but I don't mind. The audio narrator is also great.

I'm loving the audio version of this, but one of the characters just did something *so dumb* that I can only assume at this point is for some upcoming peril. (shakes head) Otherwise, this is a good suspense read, and the narrator's been great.

I'm really enjoying this. The author has a confident, easy style (with an imaginative story). I'm also a sucker for a grouchy character in a romance. :-)

I've been in a bit of a reading slump so this romantic suspense has been a nice pick-me -up. It's also quite long! Feels like I've been reading for awhile and still less than 20% in.

I'm totally loving this, and the audio version narrator is AWESOME.

This is pretty fun so far. The tone is light, and reminds me reading a breezy fanfic albeit with original characters.

Just noticed that gay historical romance author MJ Pearson has her books down from Amazon. (BTW, you could pick up a paperback of Discreet Young Gentleman for only $4,000...) Whenever this happens, a part of me wants to freak out and BUY ALL THE BOOKS before they disappear...

Finally starting this. (Came out in 2013.) Really enjoying how sharp the narrative is. Very intriguing and can't-put-down.

Dang! I kinda can't believe Rose Christo, author of Gives Light et al, wrote a hilarious queer sci-fi space romp. It's like Firefly, but WAAAY gayer. I found it really odd at first, but now I'm so smitten! The whole crew is just so darn delightful!

This is super enjoyable. Reminds me of Wooster and Jeeves in its breezy style and its posr-WWI setting, but way gayer. (The valet isn't the love interest here, but like Jeeves, is indispensable.)

I find this book delicious and so far A++ with its awesome snarky blind MC.

Whoa, this is far more awesome than I was expecting. Also has snarky blind MC! Plus Regency highwaymen!

Listening to the audio version. This is a long book! And a slow burn.
