I feel like this book tries to give each character so much of a backstory but seems to have a hard time explaining the backstory. To the point where you get lost on the way to the point. Why am I 200 pages in still wondering why he hates her and why am I still wondering how the brother died!? When that’s the MAIN plot point ugh! I understand building up but at half way still not knowing you’ve officially lost me!

This book makes the first one look like trash. And I loved the first one.

No, I did not see that coming but looking back it was obvious that’s where it was heading. But I was scared Addie was going to choose the wrong time to be passive!

This book already is SO good. It’s got me laughing, crying and feeling all the emotions. Addie is exactly who I expected her to be and more. At times it feels like the author is trying to re-write a story she already wrote. But I was obsessed the first time and this time is arguably better because you already know everyone so you’re already invested. Love it so much!

I can not stand when the FMC has amnesia! That being said Rina gives enough twists and turns were in it for the long haul.

She is SO much more interesting than her sister!

I’m going to be extremely disappointed if her moms diaries don’t lead her down a path of realizing that Peter was her dad this whole time… and all I have to say is if that does in fact happen I called it!

Never in a million years did I see that plot twist coming!

First you got me so upset that she’s pregnant. Now you’re telling me she’s not pregnant!? Dang it! After I decided that I was happy about it! Now I’m upset that she’s not pregnant! Grrrr!

This crap is so backwards. I can’t!!

I’m tired of people being pissed half the book and not knowing why until the last 50 pages 😣

Okay let’s see…
1. Her dad came back from the dead…
(Well not dead he was just in a coma for nine years)
2. Knox is her step brother (adopted)
1. Her dad kidnapped Aiden for ten days and tortured him when he was 7. So now Aiden’s dad wants to kill Elsa (glad we finally figured out what his problem was)
But for some reason Aiden is engaged to another woman?? What?!

If I don’t get some answers to my questions soon I’m gonna lose it!

You’ve got to be kidding me! 🙄

It took me way too long to decide this book is a waste of time. Once you know how the rule works and what the rule is there is both point in finishing the book in my opinion. If you are going to read or listen to a self help book read atomic habits. It helps you take the habits and give examples of how to apply them. Rather than just saying the habit and listing successes stories.

The only thing worst than a third act break up is a third act freak up when they aren’t even together and it’s less than 30 pages from the end. I don’t even care that they aren’t together yet. I care that they already broke up. SMH 🤦‍♀️

It reads like that one frat kid (that’s the smart one of the group) got high and decided to start writing a book while eating his Taco Bell.

It feels like you’re trying to learn how to trick yourself constantly. But it’s all about mindset… if you want it to work it will. If you keep saying it’s silly and stupid it won’t. Sadly I still think it’s silly no matter how many examples she gives of it being successful. But it does seem to work once you decide you’ll try anything at least once.

This is the most readable self help book ever

Call me crazy but I think this might be the best Rina Kent book I’ve read
I think it’s because the characters both have more personality than her characters usually do. Usually she makes their unhinged brain their whole personality i.e Kiss The Villain. But I think the does a very good job with character development in this as well as keeping you waiting for a lot of little secrets not just one big one
