The author in his dedication thanks his immigrant parents for drilling into him the important of reading and writing clear English, but then I read phrases like “pushed passed” instead of “pushed past”, and “cotton swap” instead of “cotton swab”

What an adrenaline rush this book is! Nonstop thrill, so well written. On the last section of the book now, let’s see how it ends

Honestly, it’s quite disappointing that problems of the 21st century are repeating themselves in the 570th century

Interesting! I’m finding similarities to Meru, and I think SB Divya had credited Annalee Newitz in her acknowledgment

A word to the wise, don’t listen to Mitski while reading this, especially pages 236-244. I had to stop reading thrice to prevent myself from crying

Starts out slow but starts to get more interesting after Kevin is introduced. The pace is still slow though

Love a book that closes storylines you forgot weee there beautifully. But I will say, I’ve spotted a few typos that could have easily been corrected. “Teapoy” for teapot, “108 days” instead of “180 days”, and something else too that I can’t remember right now
