The chokehold this movie had on me as a kid was honestly so valid

Anne hun it’s giving religious psychosis.

(I actually cannot cope with everyone name dropping fucking Wynken de Wilde five times a sentence)

There is actually too much to unpack here. I’m no longer a Lestat defender, him burning down Louis shitty little house was the worst thing that’s ever happened, and why is he suddenly lusting after 70 yr old David talbot (its lowkey giving AMC series devils minion actually omg🧐) and why the hell is there a cruise ship involved now??? Baffled as always

Confused but enjoying myself I think? Who’s Gretchen though?

And why has the spine of this book completely disintegrated as I’m reading. It’s no longer a book instead a stack of 400 pages that I’m desperately trying to keep in order

Right. Just gonna have to pretend THAT didn’t happen cos??? What was the actual purpose of that is this the point where Anne rice really started to loose the plot or?

If a total stranger comes to you and says “let’s switch bodies so I can have your 200 year old vampire body with god level power and you can have this mortal body so you can go look at the sun again and I promise I’ll deffo switch us back in 24 hours but also you need to pay me 10 million” why the actual fuck would anyone think that’s a good idea? Lestat hun come on now.

Straight up having to google ‘when did David Talbot and Lestat become best friends’ cos honestly I have no clue

Had to come back to this to remind myself why I am the number 1 Lestat defender after the MESS that was IWTV season 3 🤢

(Been 2 years since I read the last book and I’m heavily relying on my own goodreads shit chatting to remember any of the plot lines so its time to once again share my every thought in an attempt to make sense of any of this. Block me if you don’t like it)

WHAT in the 1D 2012 wattpad is this

Ye fairs I cried

Gotta read a bit of shite sometimes

Stephen King rlly spent the first 200 pages setting the scene and chatting absolute shit, before proving once again that he is the best horror writer out there. Very glad I didn’t DNF 😮‍💨

I am trying to enjoy this but rlly im bored and cannot keep up with all the characters???? Why has there been 50+ different people mentioned in 180 pages

6 books ahead of schedule for 2026 so time to read some absolute dog shite
