There's one person 1 would trust. One person I know would never use my weaknesses against me.

I don’t have this person. 😭

No mourners, no funerals. Another way of saying good luck. But it was something more. A dark wink to the fact that there would be no expensive burials for people like them, no marble markers to remember their names, no wreaths of myrtle and rose.

Enel mörd je nej afva trohem verret."— I have been made to protect you. Only in death will I be kept from this oath.

"It's men who seek grandeur,"
"The Saints hear prayers wherever they're spoken."
"And answer them according to their moods?"
"What you want and what the world needs are not always in accord. Praying and wishing are not the same thing."
But they're equally useless.

"Beauty was your armor. Fragile stuff, all show. But what's inside you? That's steel. It's brave and unbreakable. And it doesn't need fixing."
