My current problem with this book is I feel I know what's going to happen. It doesn't feel fresh. There's a university and the boy she like-hates is lying and they've known each other before. She's magic. There's magic. She's also SMART but is making dumb decisions and isn't seeing what other people are putting down.

If she rubbed her two brain cells together, she would be getting all this.

Very vibey so far. I like the zoology/ environmental aspect. Not such a big fan of some of the time jumps. They feel unnecessary most of the time and take me out of the story which is a shame
