Secondly our main character seriously needs to read, journal, anything to get some self awareness, they are a mess, idk if I love it or hate it.

I’d also like to mention how satisfied I was with my find, I’d bought this second hand and got a rather old edition from circa 2010ish, based on the very old twitter logo.

Thus it’s almost a wholly green og cover, - the NYT bestseller thingy. Speaking of, why do they do that! They could just have the ugly endorsement logos be stickers! Idc if Oprah read it.

I’ve decided to read this book in small increments, a few chapters a day, (60 total) as really I’m not wholly used to the style of writing however you’d call it. But so far I’m quite enamored, I’m also wholly unspoiled.

Don't really get all the hate

It seems to be muddled in boring court dialogues. Kinda worried the movie will be boring too.

Not sure how I feel about this so far.

I will say this is one of the more dreary dystopians I have read. Likely due to its explicit use of atrocity, of which others usually have skirted around.

This is how I’d imagine the world in Brave New World would be hundred of years prior. Yes I’m on a little dystopian binge.

Believe the hype I’ve seen the movies and this book I still so good!

These stories are really uninteresting. Also how are the following words for begginers, campesino, peasant, fuente, fountain, murallas, rampart ???? QUEEEE?

This is a hefty book to carry around and seems to not have aged poorly so far considering how far sci fi has come.

I’m so excited to be reading this, I always love reading a beloved classic especially one so in the cultural zeitgeist,

Still good but pet peeve of mine… why dos every character in every book ever go to an Ivy, also… why are soooo many books based in New England! I guess that’s where every writer ever is from, or California and Oregon

Agh at first I was like PLEASE not another book based in NEW ENGLAND, it's always New England. But you know I've actually been enjoying it so far. It's like a really f'ed up found family novel.

Look! I’m not usually a smut enjoyer but this book is so boring and finally 300 pages in they do it! Not, it was a freaking fade to black. Mannnn I’m soooo over this.
