Just started and so far amazing!

Incredibly thankful for this book so far as it has been incredibly convicting and confirming of how we as evangelicals have fallen short of taking the gospel to the hard to reach in our own communities and our lack of desire to plant churches in these communities.

This book so far has offered a powerful and convicting explanation of why church planting in the inner city, among poor and violence-stricken neighborhoods, is so often avoided by evangelicals, and why that avoidance is ultimately a gospel issue. “Financial sustainability is not the goal. The glory of God and transformation of lives through the gospel is.”

Missionary John Paton before his passing said ,”If the church would only realize its inheritance in the gospel, it would send thousands of missionaries to the ends of the earth.” The American church needs this book!
