Why is this random children’s book I found for a dollar at a bookstore downtown some of the best writing I’ve ever read

This is your sign to read your damn tbr because I marked this as wtr almost a year and a half ago and I fell in love with this series and I wish I read it sooner!!

I just realized my last update sounded like I didn’t care about my friends who have loved the book I do!!!! That’s why I decided to read it!!! Just don’t mind me I overthink lol

I’m breaking down and finally reading this even though ppl with similar taste that I trust don’t like it so idk if I will but I have to read it after seeing everyone going crazy about the newest book so here we go!!

This book is so weird 😭😭😭 1) the guy is like turned on by women enjoying food??? There’s one line where he likes the idea of his chocolate being “inside her” 🤮😭🤮 2) the fmc cries after she pours her families chocolate bars on herself 😭😭😭 I’m gonna keep reading bc this is hilariously weird

Don’t mind me I just got the overwhelming urge to read a book I was obsessed with as a kid I miss being 9-14 I used to live and breathe books and reading books back then was so different it was like I was living inside them it’ll never be the same 😪

I’m going to London (and Paris so lmk if you have any modern books recs set in Paris!!) in 10 days so I’m preparing myself by reading books set in London and romance books usually feature the city as much as the characters! :)

Reading something a little different 💃 I’ve read one sci fi book before bc it was recommended to me and I really liked it so trying another one!! This one is supposed to be made into a series on apple plus so that’s exciting

Also I thought it was Theo James on the cover at first I used to have the biggest crush on him when Divergent came out

The book cover and title are not cute but it has promising reviews!!!

I just wanna read a short mystery that you’d find in the free paperback section at ur local library and turn my brain off and enjoy bc my head is stuffed with studying and too full for fantasy rn

I went to a small local bookstore today and I bought a book that isn’t supposed to be released until March… do I celebrate in my incredible luck or do I contact the book authorities and confess to my guilt (in my defense I didn’t know until I went to log it into Goodreads)

I bought this pretty green edition at half priced books today and had to deal with this creepy man staring at me so this better be good

I started this series over the summer and absolutely devoured them all but then I found out this is probably the last book and I wasn’t ready to say goodbye so I stopped it at 65% but I’m ready to finish it now 😪

SOS it’s 8:30pm and I really should be studying for an exam tomorrow but I can’t stop reading this book it’s so addicting
