thhhhhis guy is so stupid and he pisses me off. (also the pregnancy scare was a false alarm bc the book makes time jumps but doesn't comment on them so it made sense once I realized what was goin on.) all he does is stupid shit

okay so he didn't get groomed like I was scared he was going to, but he IS in trouble. (he's having an affair with his boss' wife........... and she's pregnant......................... and it almost certainly is his kid.................. omg) (and also she's older than him (like the lady who groomed him when he was 15.... it's giving parallels.....)

I always end up accidentally reading/listening to sexual books at work. and this one isn't even FUN about it

Starting the audiobook of this bc I need smth to listen to while I knit other than music. I listened to Unsheltered by Barbara Kingsolver last year and she read it and it was so good. Her voice is so lovely. (I wish she was reading this audiobook but it's okay)
