I was wrong and I still do not care about any of these characters. Audiobook and a commute are the only reason I’m going to end up consuming this whole book.

Whitney and Krista definitely know each other and are tormenting Blake. My theory is they have a friend/sister whom he did something to when he was in his teens/20s. It probably rhymes with grape.

I am over 25% of the way in and I am BORED. Whitney (tenant) has shown she's unhinged. Krista (fiancee) acts like she believes Blake has the potential to kill her and cheat on her. She also defends Whitney but we haven't read any scenes of them interacting so is this an elaborate scheme to fuck over Blake?

I don't care about any of these characters. I am tempted to read a spoiler so I know what happens and be done.

Blake could have easily sued for wrongful termination. The fact that he didn't makes me think he did in fact show the campaign to their competitor which makes me not care about anything. The whole premise of the story relies on Blake losing his job.

I am enjoying the story. However, I wish Alexis wasn’t such a thirsty teenager 😂

There are parts of this book that remind me of fourth wing.

Cross and Wren’s romance is not believable. They are essentially childhood friends to lovers. However, we did not get to see any of that friendship in their childhood so there’s nothing to build this romance on. Every time they say, “I love you” I do not believe it.

The writing is so amateur. How did this make its way off wattpad?

This doesn't really have anything to do with Cinderella. It feels like a completely different story. I'm enjoying it a lot, but it feels like "a retelling of the Cinderella" was just used by the publishers to entice people.

This series is so fun. There’s something about how the FMCs are unapologetically horny for the MMC Shades that makes everything so entertaining.

Ruby Dixon books are silly and this one is definitely that, but it is soooo slow. I don’t know if the high rating is die hard Ruby fans or if the story picks up now that we’ve laid all the ground work. I’m hoping it’s the latter 🤞

I was hoping for more enemy to lovers before they got together. I was so excited for Svera's story and so far I have not been loving it.

So I pushed through and kept reading, Jake is the only good thing. There is no explanation for why Masha and Liv's mom hate her. Now Liv is tanking her relationship with Jake. I may end up skimming the rest of the book because I want to see what happens. This feels like a draft that should have been edited to make Liv more likeable and the alt reality make more sense.

I am having a hard time caring about Liv and I think Glasswell deserves better than her. When they go back in time and they end up together, I’m not sure if I’m going to enjoy it. It’s taken me two days to read 80 pages which shows how hard this book is for me to get into.

Is this book going to get better? The story is decent but the storytelling is not great. I feel like I should be locked in at this point and I’m just not.

Tyler being a jerk is getting tiring. I want him and Stella to embrace they like each other and team up.

The number of typos in this book is horrendous. There is a typo within the first two paragraphs. Lydia Medina didn't even attempt to proofread. What an insult to her readers.

This is such a dumb reveal and reason. The whole trilogy has been ruined.

This book feels like a repeated gut punch. I am reading it so slowly because I need to take breaks so I don’t spiral into sadness.

Margo is a sociopath. Entitlement is one of the things I absolutely hate so I hate Margo. Not in a fun hate way, but in a hate hate way. I want to DNF but people really liked this book. Audiobook will save me 🙃

The number one thing I hate most in books is mismarketing. I immediately dock a star.

This book is about what how an abusive relationship impacts a family. Three scenarios: mom stays, mom leaves with the kids after years, or mom leaves with the kids immediately.

The boy’s name doesn’t matter. His name is basically a title for the three different scenarios so you can keep track of which story you’re in.

This is very cold of me but I don’t understand why Arvelle doesn’t marry Carrick so her brother can get the help he needs and they can move to a warmer climate. Carrick knows she still loves Tiernan so it’s not like he’s going in blind. She’s willing to go into an arena to die but not marry a man she likes as a friend but doesn’t love???

I’m having a decent enough time now, however it is very clear that Finance Nick is not the right person for her. They have different values and that does not make him a bad person, but it does make him not the right person for Kay. Also, I don’t know if Farmer Nick is the right person for her. Right now they feel like better friends than romantic partners 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m not going to go as far as to say Finance Nick is in a red flag, but he definitely has some baggage. I think that he is coming back to a relationship with Kay because it feels comfortable and his heart was broken.

I am waiting for farmer Nick to enter the chat. So far, I am not enjoying this book. Kay is delusional with her “the universe put finance Nick in my life again.” All I’m seeing are 🚩

You can have amazing sex with someone but they not be the right person for you 🙃
