I'm bored out of my mind. 😭 My eyes hurt, my brain hurts, and this book is nothing like I expected in the worst way possible.

I've always loved reverse harem anime, but I've never actually read a reverse harem novel before. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about it, but I decided to give it a try. So far I'm 30% in, and I honestly can't see the chemistry yet. The main characters barely interact, which is kind of frustrating. I'm hoping it picks up because right now I'm just not feeling it.

I honestly can't remember the last time I was this scared to continue a book. I'm so afraid it's going to end heartbreakingly, and I'm going to end up crying. Oh my God, I'm terrified. 😭

Yu'er and Xiaozhu keep reminding me of Aesun and Gwan-sik from WLGYT. Their stories are literally NOTHING alike, but they somehow give me the same feeling. 🥹 They're so adorable together... and that's exactly why I'm terrified of what's about to happen. 😭

I thought people will ship her with Cameron but they're shipping her with Dietrich (i don't like either of them but this is interesting, idk the age of these characters as well😮‍💨)

15% in and the male lead is so painfully unlikeable that I'm more invested in seeing him get humbled than fall in love.

I genuinely tried to like James, but I just can't. And honestly, his behavior keeps making it even harder.

James's behavior screamed "jealous ex" more than "best friend."

Reading this at 4 a.m. was a mistake. Now I'm starving, but I can't order food, I can't sneak into the kitchen to make something, and I definitely can't wake my mom unless I want to get scolded. 😭 This book really chose the worst possible time to make every meal sound delicious.
