I have a feeling that the Death God and Junyi are the same person, just in different lives. Like, Junyi died and was reincarnated as the Death God idk, it’s just a feeling 😭

Finally, I know his name🙂‍↕️ and I have a strong feeling that these two stories are connected.

She really caught him red-handed reading fanfiction written about himself from the mortal realm 😭✋ I’m LOSING it. This has to be one of the most ridiculously hilarious and absurdly creative scenes I’ve ever read.

Why do I get the feeling this is going to be one of those stories where she wants to live, he wants to die, and in the end she dies while he’s left to live for her? I don’t know, it’s just a feeling.

I want to avoid Eyes Of King for now because I’m honestly scared to see how it ends, so I’m starting with this instead. As you all know, I love Ann Liang so much, although I didn’t enjoy ASTDR as much. So I’m going into this with decent expectations not too high, but I’m hopeful. So far, I’m interested. It’s good, but I’m only 2% in, so that’s all I can say for now.

OMGGGG the tension is absolutely insane right now I’m losing my mind 😭 I just knew this book was going to be perfect and it’s delivering!!! I need to know what happens next like immediately 😩📚✨

I knew it there’s just something off about Mark, like they’re clearly setting him up to be the villain, and if that happens it won’t even feel shocking, just predictable; and don’t even get me started on the fact that she still has feelings for Greg because it’s honestly frustrating to watch her stay stuck like that, and at this point I’m not even feeling anything for the book I’m still reading, but I’m not invested.

I’m not completely opposed to this book yet. I’m still curious about what happens next, but 18 chapters in, it feels like nothing is really moving. I’m putting in all the effort to stay interested, while the story isn’t doing much to pull me in. With 57 chapters, the length feels overwhelming for a romance. Still, I’m holding on, hoping it eventually picks up and finally feels worth the time and effort.

I don’t understand her reaction. Her grandmother has colon cancer, and her mother has to go back to Korea to care for her that’s responsibility, not abandonment. Yet she keeps saying she’s being “abandoned,” even though she’s old enough to understand the situation. Especially when she chooses to live in a dorm instead of with her mom, it just feels immature and unfair.

Goodbye, Your Highness. I hope we never meet again.
