I love the dual narrative in these books. They are also a great easy read if u feel yourself slumping or just tired but want to read

I have genuine CHILLS!!! THE DRAMA!!!

Backman is incredible at describing the human condition. He writes these emotions so vividly that you can genuinely feel them even if you have never thought of them in a way. This is a must read if you want your whole existence and every thought you have ever had shuffled around.

It’s a bit slow paced but I’m interested to see where it goes

Why are there so many deaths in this, and all the reviews are like oh it’s lighthearted Christmas story, girl what? Are we reading the same book

Oh I love their banter

It’s so cute and wholesome. I’m really enjoying it so far. It’s the perfect amount of humour and matureness.

It’s just every day life. Nothing deeper than words that are usually unsaid because they are mundane or gruesome. Literature romanticises life. This book goes against that ideology
