Ten pages in. Thought I’d give it ago. Try and read short bursts every day. Like a long walk on a wet seaside shore.

First of the novellas was anxiety laden. Interesting and thought provoking

I’ve read 1/6 of the book and I have absolutely no idea where the story is going. It’s just this young English man meandering around a mostly sparse Greek island.

Almost done ... well another 200 pages to go. The author sure does like a metaphor or 20 😗

I thought it’s time to give this monster a go. So far.... slightly over written. Seems like a good little adventure story
