I'll definitely say that the first half of this book is an easier read (more fun, too). This _third quarter_ is giving a lot of food for thought and takes a bit more cognitive concentration to properly digest. This is not to devalue this portion of any amount. On the contrary, by this time the author has the reader (me) is invested in finishing the book and is now laying the heavy introspective logic.

This book makes you take a few moments reflect on different events in your past, where you're at, and where you might be heading.

As good of a book this is, I have this constant feeling or 'want' to have the story flushed out more. Perhaps this is just more evidence that shows how enticing this story is to read.

The first chapter want as organic as other books this at I've read. Keeping with it, going into the third and fourth chapters, I found myself intrigued on the story that was unfolding. Some of it you can draw early conclusions but not fully. The author, Martha, did a nice job of adding a little extra to each "encounter"

First impression is RoboCop meets Firefly with a little Halo: The Flood vibes. It has me hooked and I'm curious where this goes.
