Once I realized what was happening, the entire book unraveled as I continued to read.
The book is written in a way to present his theses as some grand idea, but the actual substance of his large arguments is completely absent. Fallacies and smoke and mirrors are used to mislead the reader. Anecdotes are used to completely throw away points Harari disagrees with.
