just found out why it’s called “open house” — to be fair, we spent the entire book everywhere but an open house lmao

omg the headmaster lady pulled a “matilda” and made that girl chug an entire gigantic glass of milk for being greedy….at least it wasn’t chocolate cake

can someone care to explain why there always has to be a cheating plot when it comes to “family drama contemporary” storyline? not just one, but potentially three??

uh so does everyone here suck? you would think it's just those two boys, but no - their parents aren't any better? you will never guess what these two boys did...

the second book i’ve read this year where something suspenseful happens over the course of a dinner. guessing this is a popular setting for a plot to take place !

this poor girl has been gaslight by everyone, will she ever get a break??

lol i’m starting a new book bc the other two books i’m reading almost put me in a reading slump. third time’s a charm?

there are a LOT of footnotes in this book, i can’t keep up with all this info being thrown at me

despite the constant pop culture references, the plot itself seems intriguing. we're sitting at 3 out of 5 stars for now !

okay but does anyone in this book understand the concept of social media, hype houses, and going viral?? i feel like nobody would act like this in real life lol, the people in this hype house are too nice. also can’t believe i’m reading abt a hype house?

this girl is making me so mad, i'm not going to lie..if i was in this situation, i would've caused hell !! abby is way too nice

i love how the main character is *adamant* this is all going to work out with her assistant and her husband...i can see where this is going lol

i feel like this book is just “no thoughts, just vibes”
