I think maybe the message I’m supposed to take away from this book will come to me in four to five days. This was fun though! Themes of work vs hobbies, nature vs intervention, human connection vs kinship with anthropomorphic things. Very complimentary and deferent towards my dear friends the robots and the microbes.

This one is actually incredible cause baby the sunshine is sunshining HARD and the grumpy isn’t even that grumpy. No third act breakup and everyone gets a realistic happy ending despite this being the 60s?? Fleshed out side characters with their own personalities?? I’m eating it uppp.

Okay I was only kinda into this book for like ten pages and then all of the sudden I was really into it. Just the right amount of consuming— not all-consuming but I still caught myself thinking about their relationship dynamics throughout the day. I think this ending goes to show that Kurt and I would agree that knowingly doing objectively BAD things to serve an objectively GOOD cause does not and will never absolve you from the bad things you’ve done.
