This has me hooked. Such an interesting perspective from those that are in war zones and reporting them. Wow, all the things they go through.

With 4 different characters, the story is taking a bit to get to the point. I think it will be a quick finish once I get to the end. It's good, but not my favorite way to read a story.

It's a little dull, but I think it'll end up being an ok story. It's listed as historical fiction, but I haven't gotten to any history yet. I'm a little bored yet want to finish.

Wow. Tough things to imagine. What a story..it's hard to put down.

I'm more than halfway and still hoping it gets exciting.

I'm kinda bored so far. I hope the story gets going pretty soon.

Wow. This story is horrific. Page turner though. I can't believe these terrible things are real events.

I was worried that the story was going to stay flat, but it's just starting to build, I'll keep reading.

A beautifully written duel timeline. This is a great book

This is very good so far..it's easy to keep reading.

Trying to keep the timeline straight, but this story is very engaging.I have so many questions and thoughts and I can't wait to find out how it all plays out.

Slow start, but it's starting to come together

I'm too far in to stop reading it now, but it's a little bizarre.

Very good so far!! It's amazing to think of how living was back in the late 1700s

Great book. I loved feeling all the emotions as I read through and a little heartbreak as it relates similarly to what our world is going through now.
