As I write this, I’m laying in a hammock, facing east with my back to the setting sun. It’s been a beautiful day spent out here with little Luna, only 6 months old about, running free through the yard with her big sister Venus. Taylor was hanging in the hammock adjacent to me, and on my other side, our small weekly creek ambles away.
It’s a perfect setting to read such a magnificent epic western.
