I forgot how easy and fast this is to read. So much detail and fun new words. Such a clear picture without getting stuck in details. A joy to experience.

Well that is an unexpected twist... I hope I haven't figured out the ending.

Good to know my instincts are still intact bc this foreshadowing was well done. Some things don't quit follow a sensible timeline but whatever, it's fantasy.

Fourth finished. This took a HUGE turn, with literally no foreshadowing. Ugh. I hated this one.

Onto book four.
I'm really mad about a very predictable part that didn't fit the character development and was just needed as a plot device to move things along.... But then, yeeeaaaahhhhh!!!! And immediately, wait what!!?! So they're that...

Well damn. Okay then. Book four time.

Annoyingly addictive. Stayed up till 4am yesterday.

First book completed. Damn, what a ride.
Easy read with enough cliches and plot twist to be entertaining. Several minor editing mistakes, but it's free so whatever.
So far so good.

Ok, me and the protagonist seem to be in the same page... Unsure if that means we're catching on or hopelessly lost.

This is such an experience.

This is not a quick easy read. Nothing is particularly difficult about it, but you need to pay attention.

This is a fascinating concept with impressive dialogue. It describes bookworms so well, much better than most books for sure.
This is a very immersive story. No half distracted reading here.

The entire back is praise for previous works which is not promising about this one...

I gotta say, many more twists than I expected. Thankfully, the foreshadowing and red herrings are expertly done.

There was a ridiculous review from a total Karen (Nilufer Ozmekik) and it angered me...It was ridiculously dramatic, ultimately saying she loves YA high fantasy and not into adult Urban low fantasy? Well?!? This is an entirely different genre and maturity level!
I can honestly say the first 100 pgs are slow, but every adult novel is. Stop wasting people's time attempting to be clever. Ugh.

Damn. This is good. Like... A lot to take in, but exceptionally full and vibrant? I just cried and I'm not entirely sure why?!? Well done Leigh.

There's a lot of detail regarding places, which is very cool... But as I've never been there? Not actually as helpful as you'd think. There's multiple narrators and it does not progress chronically... Not to it's detriment, just an FYI.

this is hilarious and wonderful. So clever and ridiculously fun! I think I may have found another favorite author!!!!

I'm trying to not read this too quickly... But this is fun.

Omg I am really gonna enjoy this. It is clever and quick. Using the minimum words to describe people and scenery fully. I'm gonna try to not read this in a day so I can savor it.... You only read it for the first time once, ya know?!?

This is the ninth I think? I'm so over these characters.
While there's some playful hints about sexualities, I'm annoyed that the supposed lesbian is totally now bisexual instead, and poorly written at that.

Changing narrator in the same chapter is annoying. There's a LOT of world happening with almost no exposition to clarify, but really it's Europe? Fairly disappointed in this apparent Maas recommendation so far... No great humor or wit as of yet... I already bought the second book and am regretting it so far...

Alright I started to lose interest when I thought I had figured everything out... But I was wrong, like twice already... But now the books is almost done and I'm like !!!!

So many bad ideas!!!! I appreciate everyone finally talking sense but ya know it's gonna go do far downhill so quickly. Yeesh.
