I don’t think a lot of the people who rated & reviewed this realized it was 100% satire.

Considering it’s a novella & it was meant to be satire, I give it 3.5-4 stars. There were quite a few funny parts that made me smile, however none of it made me laugh (I know it’s supposed to be a satire suspense / thriller not comedy but still).

I just started tonight while I was at the gym (if I enjoy a book enough I’ll read while I’m on the treadmill or some of the leg machines like a psycho🤣).

I’ve been looking for books similar to ‘Leave Me Behind’ since I finished that over a year ago and I didn’t have any luck until ‘Your knife, My heart’ 🥲 I’m so excited!

I just don’t think I’ll be able to finish this.. it’s been months since I got halfway through the book & I tried to start where I left off, but it’s so boring 😭 no book should be this slow for the first entire half of the book….

Well…. I did not expect to cry at all while reading this book 😭😭

After finishing Onyx Storm I’ve been in a little bit of a rut.. I did finish A Court of Thorns & Roses, but keep getting a bit bored with reading the same book which has led me to reading 3 books at once.. whichever I’m in the mood for, I pick back up 🤣
