Ugh this book is breaking my heart. I didn’t expect it to make me emotional but here I am crying listening to Caspens letter 😭😭 and I just didn’t expect this fucking ending….. UGH idk how to feel about

Tem is extremely annoying.. i really enjoy this book, but it’s really hard to listen to & read due to the main character. She’s so whiny, and annoying I can’t stand it.

This book has been super cute so far, it’s my first Emily Henry book and I’ve found myself wanting to listen/read it over the other books I’m reading at the moment!

I’ve been wanting to read this for a long time, but every time Libby finally had a copy of the book or audiobook available I was in the middle of reading multiple books, so I never had time to start (it happened 3 times so far lmao).

So I’m walking my dog & saw part 1 of the graphic audio was on sale for $2.96 & decided to buy it instead of waste a credit on it since it was so cheap. Such a steal!!

I was so excited to read this because everyone has been raving about it, including some of my favorite bookish/reading influencers (idk what to call them lmao) but I’m almost 70% through the book and I’m so disappointed so far 😭😭 I’m a huge love island fan & had really high hopes.

Hopefully the rest of the book will be worth it & change my opinion :(((

I really wish these books were different parts of their story not just didn’t perspectives., I know there’s little details you that are in one book & not the other but it still bothers the hell out of me lol.

Way too repetitive & I like Hades perspective as a whole more than Persephone’s but Persephone’s has important details you don’t want to miss that aren’t in hades books 😭

I’ve seen a lot of great reviews of this book, but I’m not a fan of books that are short and don’t get really good until you’re 70% through it… I have a feeling that’s how this one will be because im almost half way through and it’s nothing special 😭

Since I won’t have access to any electronics after tonight my goal is to finish this before 9am lmao

After tonight I won’t have my phone or access to social media or any sort of electronics like my kindle, iPad, etc., for 30 days so I won’t be able to finish this until next month & im not happy about it 😭

I’ve been waiting months for this release!! Yesterday was a rough day, but this made it a little better 🫶🏼

This book is heart breaking 🥺😭

I’m pretty pissed I had to wait 4.5 books just for Gibbs & Claire to finally make moves towards being more than friends and even now it’s still not a 100% a thing… 😭😭

2. Joeys parents make me want to pull out my hair.. the mom more than the dad & I think that’s because I’ve grown up with sisters & friends who put men in front of everyone & everything, including their own kids no matter how terrible they are.

3. I can’t stand Aiofes best friend, I haven’t cared for her in past books but she also pisses me off in this one lol girls like her are the worst

Just a couple things…
1. Shane’s character pisses me off & it’s not just because he is a terrible person who wants everyone to be a shitty human like him.. but the fact that dealers in the real world are not threatening or begging someone to start using drugs again, even if they need the money desperately lol. This bugged me bc the rest of the details in the book are extremely spot on
