This has gone from being a mystery to an odd therapy session.

It’s finally getting good. At last, some interesting drama. Maybe Samuel’s character was making the book feel too sentimental.

This is just too sentimental for my taste.

This is kind of boring. The writing still has a fanfiction-like feel to it. I thought it would be better edited.

The author can undoubtedly write, but I'm not sure he can plot.

This is no good, even though it had so much promise in the beginning.

Just like the first book, it starts off very promising and interesting but then takes a nosedive.

This is an adult novel but it has such a YA feel to it.

This would be so much better if it were more character-focused instead of mostly being a mystery. I'm starting to think that the mystery genre might simply not be my cup of tea.

I’m enjoying this so far. I don’t understand the hate or not yet.

It’s amusing to know that people from nearly 300 years ago react to the sight of spiders just like we do today. Some things never change.

I’m only up to page 79 and I didn’t expect to already love this book so much.

These characters literally can't get any more stereotypical.

What's with the names? Prince Verity, Prince Chivalry, Lady Patience...

At a very early period she had apprehended instinctively the dual life-that outward existence which conforms, the inward life which questions.

This supposed 'tough' assassin is far too concerned about her looks more than anything.

I think the anti-hero is too unlikeable. I keep hoping that eventually he will have certain traits that make him kind of-slightly-bit likeable.

The terminology for this book is huge..
