Every character in this book so far has shit talked Miranda with pitchforks and drags her for being a slut. She ran off with a 35yo and everyone insists SHE was the problem. Yes everyone blames the 16yo instead of the grown man including her own mother.

Conor has literally no reason or incentive to believe that Miranda is involved of sending the malicious note and then proceeds to deep dive into this woman’s life? And then goes to her old school? Man is still lusting over the painting 😪
