I’m in love with Charles Martin’s characters and writing style. His writing moves like a slow-moving river - deep, patient, and full of character.

This book is extremely interesting but I find myself detesting the lifestyle of the people that are being written about. Somehow I don’t think their character will improve by the end of the book, but I am compelled to finish.
