and now for the third novella

Just finished the first of the three novellas. The first person narration really shows the illogical yet completely valid spirals of thought that come with the attempt to accept that you're aging. The way the narrator and her husband come together to navigate their struggles with growing old in the end is so beautiful

“In the great sea of time I was a rock beaten by waves that were continually renewed—a rock that neither moved nor crumbled.”

Change from third to first person was interesting, and in that chunk paragraphs separated by stars almost signify the transition from random thought to random thought by the temporary narrator Eleanor

Safe to say things are falling apart
