Daniela Rosario is 11% done with Finding Me
When I listen to the Audio Book of Finding Me, I just have so many moments already in just the first 2 chapters when I say “wow.” So much of what Viola shares is relatable. And just hearing her story is a gift to anyone who would lend an ear to it. I can’t wait to continue listening.

Well… Sarah’s life went from bad to worse quick and that’s only the beginning…

Eager and curious to know more of what will happen.

I was a little fatigued after reading 40 pages so I decided I’ll read the last 5 of the preface later.

Apart from that, woah. I went through the motions with Sarah. I didn’t wanna stop reading. Through and through, I have felt bad for her and have been scared for her… I didn’t anticipate all that…. I wonder what the next five pages will be like as well as the next chapter.

Some points:

“Death ends a life not a relationship.” - Morrie

Morrie and I both agree that we are like plants with green leaves that at some point wither and die in their time.

I appreciate how at peace with death, and life Morrie is. Death is a natural part of life after all.

I read this book and it’s beautiful. I read this book and it is almost over…

The bond that Mitch and Morrie are sharing to the end is beautiful.

Im reading this book, living through the moments, being affected by the words. I see that I am almost done going through all of the pages and I find this almost parallel to the fact that Morrie’s life is almost over; I don’t know when it will end but, the fact of the matter is that it will…

I feel connected to the people in this book. It’s awesome to read a story whether fiction or not and truly relate to what’s going on. I appreciate that.

On another note, “The Ninth Tuesday” is another great one 😊.

I love that Morrie stresses the importance of being fully present in a moment. That’s so relevant to everything we do & I also love how this is something I get to put into practice as an actor/ creative. The value of Patience & Relationship… To live in and be completely connected to a moment - not distracted. That’s living & takes a degree of mental discipline as well as an open heart I think…

Really pleasant wisdom in this chapter about the “Fear of Aging.” This is definitely one of my favorites.
Morrie’s acceptance of what he must surrender and contentment with what he still has allows him to enjoy each moment as it comes. And it continues bringing him back to “the little things” in life. All that while simultaneously appreciating the aging process. I love that. Morrie’s wisdom preserves him

I love this book! I’m about 1/2 way done!
I find the way Morrie handles dying to be so powerful & I love that it’s something he feels fully open to experiencing - however it comes “this is my moment” he says. It’s incredibly glorious to me, despite how scary. I love how he contrasts with Mitch, the author of the book. Morrie is open and ready to experience while Mitch struggles with control and openness.

“But detachment doesn’t mean you don’t let the experience penetrate you. On the contrary, you let it penetrate you fully. That’s how you are able to leave it” - Morrie

I particularly enjoy this chapter about emotions just as much, if not more than the previous about family. This is good and very relatable to life as well as my pursuit to becoming a good actress.

I appreciate seeing how Morrie communicates about having a family saying, “Love is supremely important “”love each other or perish.”” I also appreciate how he goes on to mention that having children is an irreplaceable experience that he would not have missed for the world.

After reading this chapter, I took some of Morrie’s advice and went to love my family 😊.

Morrie says that when you accept the fact that you can die anytime, you appreciate a lot more of the little things. You might not be so ambitious… People don’t really believe they are going to die (despite the fact that they know someone who has died) - otherwise they’d live each day differently.

“Learn how to die and you learn how to live.” -Morrie
