Very fascinated with Capote’s portrait of Herb Clutter, very simple man in the way that he lives simply to avoid complications (I wonder if that trait is inherent or learned). He’s juxtaposed by his wife, Bonnie, who’s nervousness he has learned to support but is praying for the return of her “old self”. Oh how can I relate, but in the reverse.
