Plot: 3/5 Not crazy interesting but there's a main line. What I don't understand is why there are so many characters for us to know, but the MC can't remember. Everyone has a role, but nothing is explored. It feels like we tried for world-building but then, to create a world, made irrelevant characters.

I’m not sure this book is my cup of tea, I don’t understand why rich people=mafia people, I’m also having a hard time placing what year/ time frame this is all happening.

Action scenes are sweet but exciting. They last for moments but the stress is palpable

Okay, so...plot? Mid. Smut, pretty okay and unintentionally funny. Would I read this again, not really. Am I glad I read it so far, eh.

I’m not really enjoying the “dark” themes as much as I thought I would? Is this what dark romance really means?

But I do agree it’s spicy I guess. I don’t feel like there’s “romance” but more lust.

Great concept, terrible execution. So far, this book is limited to cisgender hetero relationships. As well specific to: serial daters, immature people, and whatever other limited sample size. Author states they interviewed men to get their thoughts; however, doesn’t state anything about these men other than name and age. Culture is a heavy influence in relationships; left out of the book. So far, can’t recommend
