Okayyyy it was good! The ending definitely tied it all together. I have loved Emma Donoghue but this was my first time reading her most popular book. I'm honestly amazed I didn't have an issue with Jack's POV the entire time, a true testament to her writing. Such an interesting story

Loved loved loved Ghost Music by her and have been trying to get my hands on braised pork for forever so when I saw this was coming out I was so pumped. Finally got it from my library. So far, so good

It's like if rosemary in rosemary's baby didn't figure out anything and everyone was acting like her child was normal

This was good in a creepy way - it was interesting seeing the pov of the killers/the thought process, but overall just doesn't really feel like it had a point. Not really sure what the obsession with Morino was, felt like it was just used as something to tie the stories together

Very odd pacing ngl. Super interesting to see what they chose to grab and change - also sidenote but I'm very sad about the fact that Fiyero is not a POC with basically tribal tattoos on his face when did that become not a thing
