I really love the way this book is set up with the perspectives of everyone in the family!!! Plus poor Farnaz reminiscing over their morning routine 😭

Chose this bc I needed an audiobook for the plane and I'm really liking it so far! Going into it as a romance and not a horror but I am interested to see the creature/vampires in more depth and understand what tf happened exactly with Nena

Unless some crazy starts happening real soon (we still have the ship sinking to go) this really should not be classified as horror or mystery tbh. Nothing is happening, i don't care about the characters /that/ much, and I'm a little bored.

What does it say about me that I didn't care that much when most of the humans died, but as soon as the big velociraptors killed the baby velociraptor I cried? 

Also the first raptor Alan killed bc like what do you mean these dinosaurs aren't even supposed to exist and they are literally just going on instincts and she has to suffer an awful death bc she was forced to exist for human entertainment???

Kinda spoilery but i really thought they were going to kill James right there and I was so bummed bc James and Oliver (their relationship specifically) are the only people i'm interested in atp 🫣
