I still think I should have chosen something else written by her as my first book

The amount of emotional turmoil I am going through right now over this book is beyond explaining, I am going through so much every moment and I don’t know whether to laugh or cry about making myself sit through this.

Almost halfway through the book and something about this one feels like I am missing a chapter, that I was suppose to read something before this…like a brief maybe…to get this one better.

The book is so good man, i am so invested

I love every second of this story and the writing style is exactly what I needed to get out of my slump.

Maybe it's the fast-paced reader in me right now, engrossed in the book with such deep interest. Otherwise, I find the book's buildup to the actual plot twist quite slow. I still believe that thrillers should not exceed 300 pages, as they tend to lose momentum, making it difficult for readers to stay engaged.
