just reached the hundred page mark and i can already foretell this is going to be a five star read.

soft dnfing for now. i get that this is not meant to be an enjoyable read, but i’m also struggling to find my care for these characters.

I feel an immense amount of disappointment and FRUSTRATION because for whatever reason* i can’t get past 50 pages of this book t___t this is my fourth try now GOD BLESS ME

halfway thru the book and oh my golly I AM EATING THIS UP LIKE A GOOD PASTRAMI!!! the self-deprecating jokes & banters, the tropes, the improv and culinary references like Grant Achatz and David Chang—yeah, everything.

my most anticipated read this month!!! SALT AIRRRRR

A woman’s gut feeling marches to its own beat. AND SO I’m scared to flip the pages and read the following journal entries!!! (her husband is gonna cheat on her—it’s in the synopsis at the back of the book and yet i’m dreading to reach that part)

Giving this another try but this time as an audiobook narrated by Melissa Broder herself!

I was so grossed out with one particular scene in the early chapters of this book that it made me quickly DNF it and quietly close my ipad!!! Here’s to hoping I survive it this time lol
