ngl the first 30 pages were a bit slow but still interesting. The thing I love about keri lakes writing is how similar to nocticadia where it has dual pov with the mmc and fmc but different settings and I'm invested in both of them and cant wait til they meet.

I know its in the mid 1950s and a lot of things were frowned upon but so far Shirley has not been a good friend to Lily... tbd
