Started yesterday. I wish I could read more in a go, but the toddler demands mommy's attention!
My husband and I discussed how interesting history books are. He speaks Korean so he won't read this book, but we already had interesting discussions (apparently he studied this a bit himself). So far I'm only on day 2 of her reign (which is my hubby's birthday!), but I enjoyed the background knowledge.

I finished the month of January, which included all of Genesis and Job, as well as bits of Chronicles.

the beginning was slow, but the end was good.. can't believe it took me so long to read!

I actually started this book months ago, but couldn't add it for some reason..

I liked the real book and this one is pretty fun too.

I failed to mention the author, Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804-1864).

I finished "Young Goodman Brown." It's very well written, but depressing. It fits the time period though. I kept thinking of the Salem witch trials and how this would've tied into the beliefs at the time...

Big reading day..

very good, but very dense. I feel like I've been reading forever, but then it doesn't look like I've read any pages at all!

started on Wednesday. thought it might be a slow read, but it pulled me right in.
