Sorry but the plot twist/third part issue is fucking dumb. How is she so angry about this ????

This is SO GOOD. The writing is everything I look for in a book (sooooo many great turn of phrases), the characters are awkward amazing hilarious, the romance is delightful, the plot is engaging… what more can a girl want ?

God this is sooooooo predictable. Like there’s not one plot point one can’t predict

At first I thought that Tessa Bailey was back but it’s gotten very cringy with the bad dirty talk, the ‘omg he’s a CAVEMAN and I’m so smol next to him’ and the ´im so old for you I’m 37 basically a grandpa’

God the covers of this series are awful

The whole ‘I’m a caveman because I like you, don’t strut around another man in leggings’ and ‘all the women in his life are jealous bitches’ is kind of distracting me from the rest of the story, which is good so far

Plus it started to get boring when they got together, and the third act breakup is just so stupid (again, because the characters are ; I can appreciate when it makes sense because after all, we’re all a bit dumb sometimes, but here it’s just unrealistic and cliché). I would expect that from Tessa Bailey (no shade, I used to like her books) but after loving Eliott & Ama’s book I am disappointed.

The beginning was good and promising, some intense chemistry etc but it went downhill since. The MC just makes the dumbest decisions ?? The villains are pretty much obvious from the beginning, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know they are shady, yet Gwen is so naïve ?

Lucius snorted. “You have married a pussycat, Draco. Stop whingeing. Have you made an effort? Or do you merely annoy her and then mope about?”

“I annoy her and mope about,” said Draco, moping even now.

au bout du premier chapitre je savais déjà que ce livre allait atterrir dans ma liste de livres préférés
