no this is preying on my weakness for sweet old men

why am I crying.

what is it with this woman and familial relations

God I truly wish the narrator had an ounce of emotion in her voice
Just discovered this one also narrated The Dream Hotel which I also ended up disliking so this had better not ruin a good spooky season read for me :(((

15 mins into the audio and i am already crying I have no business at all with this book

How have I only just found out this was a sequel

I know this is not necessarily important to the story but I don't know why we have specified the action of putting a "red Toyota Prius" into 5th gear when not only would you not start a car in 5th gear, but this car does not *ever* have a manual transmission.

Exquisite. I've never been more delighted to have predicted a plot point and have it still surprise me in how it's executed.

Every time something happens I want to vomit from anxiety

I would just like it to be on record that I am in hell and though I will finish the last 25% of this book out of spite, I am breaking up with jewell after this
