Re-reading because I miss my boy Rhys

The writing is gooood. I like it

Ok… so now she got dresses from Fisher’s mother, just like Feyre from Rhysand’s… I mean… too much of a coincidence for my taste.

So I just started and it feels like I am reading Game of Thrones (the Feeders which die only when burned) with parts of Lord of the Rings (the Vampire Lords with the rings of power)… not sure what to think at this point

I looooove the lightness and wittiness of the writing. The FMC is super relatable. So far I am enjoying it a lot :) it’s like reading a romantic comedy from the 2000s.

Re-read before visiting Harry Potter World

It’s like reading “Manacled” all over again… but a bit less dark and with a feminist instead of Voldemort. Not sure if I like it, but I am sick and have all the time in the world, so probably I will finish and make up my mind then.

I am not sure I can finish this… it is so infantile and seems like a 16 year old wrote it. Every 2 pages “the corner of his mouth hours goes up” or “trends north” and I just can’t stand the characters. There is no chemistry and it all feels fake and forced. I am sorry, but it really really sucks… especially that I was super excited about this book :(

I am loving this book soooooo much!!! Ali is the queen of banter and the characters in this book are so amazingly written… I cried 3 times already due courtesy of Eli Maya relationship. Everything is perfect. The scenery, the characters, the lightness of the writing, the emotions, the story…
The only BUT I have is Connor being hung up on the age gap… ok WE GET IT: YOU ARE OLDER THAN HER. get over it

Hunger Games meets the Bachelor ?? Peculiar but I love it

So it took a looooot of willpower to get to this place, because this book was SLOOOOOW until now, but I am actually starting to like it!!! Liam is my favorite kind of MMC - tortured bug guy with the softest of hearts. AND GOD PLEAS SHAVE SEX ALREADY!! The sexual tension is killing meeeeeee

PROTECT RIDOC AT ALL COSTS

Ok, sooo… I was not going to continue with this series after the 1st book. Buuuuut I don’t know why I started the 2nd and so far it’s definitely better. Let’s see.
