Woah

The various POVs and passage of time are wild. Very scattered story, hoping the characters and their experiences begin to blend together soon.

Took a minute for the plot to get going but here we go

Very fun and chaotic so far. Main character is very LA while still being a unique individual

Bit iffy on this so far. Not really engaging with the characters but curious to see where the story goes

Dense start. But very good, interesting concepts. Lack of exposition requires the reader to pay very close attention to small details. Although I like when authors trust their audience in that way, it makes for a slow read.

Great start to book 2. I love mongo and princess donut

The two best lines of the book so far have been:

“The Maestro did not like his audience glurping for someone else.”

and

“Glurp on that, motherfucker”

Very fun light reading so far

finally getting into this one, pretty good so far. I like how Rooney juxtaposes her characters by using different writing styles for each of their specific chapters. I caught on immediately
