I stand corrected on Lottie’s reading habits. She’s reading novels based on real crimes. So nonfiction. But still thinking she can solve these murders. So 🤷🏻‍♀️

Alice is alright. Too high on herself. But went through it. I hope she murders someone. She beat the shit (slightly stabbed a boy). I’m like hell yeah. Lottie is dumb? does she think she’s going to solve these murders by reading fictional crime? Then she also thinks she’s a prime candidate for possession? Why?
I like how the POV switch and show how each girl feels in comparison to the other.

I really absolutely love Chloe and Red. They also seem more self aware than other romantic couples. I will say the sexy parts of this book do not hold back though... I don’t know if I wasn’t in the right reading space or if it was a lot a lot, but this did have me taking a reading break.

Anna and 'Georgia' are finally becoming actual characters in this book. They seemed very flat at first and only partially related to the story, though both were significant pieces of Jude's life... Now they actually feel like that while I'm reading.

Engaging while I'm reading.... But unlike the Locke and Key series, I don't find myself thinking of it when I'm not reading it.
