The confidence with which the author uses legal jargon for plot and in dialogue is genuinely impressive. It’s all so wrong, and yet done with such aplomb that I’m just laughing at it.

All the law stuff … the author tried but none of this is how any of it works. I don’t like Dani that much. Angry for no reason. Ezra’s family is inexplicably horrible. But readable because the smut is top tier.
