Fantastic and informative history of the famines, Stalins ideological disregard for the suffering he created, the peasants suffering of the avoidable outcomes, the holodomor, and the great terror. Fantastic read and highly recommended.

Book is a HELL of a read at this point. The start was slow AF and I thought it was gonna be super dull read, but has gotten WAY better and some of the drudgery of an AI robot dominated future slogging through the pain of syntax, semantics, and general guesswork ala a DOS based computer trying to figure out BASIC on your own w/o a book is such a fun experience to go through. Great character development & evolution 2
