So far it’s not great. The research is fine but I am not vibing with the FMC. I feel like I learned more or less the same about K-Pop from listening to an EJAE interview. I want to like this but everything feels so surface level and quite a bit for a diversity checklist. It reads like a quite young YA so I am trying not to judge it too harshly. We will see.

Something about Fox’s age is confusing me quite a bit.

Loving it honestly! There are a few references to other books that I don’t get yet but it doesn’t bother me too much. And this book is part of a series anyway so it’s on me not the book or the author.
