This girl's life is nuts!

These people are so malicious lol!

I actually don't like this book.. I thought I would for the same reason I don't! Crazy, right? It is SO similar to The Drowning Kind that I feel like I am reading the same story so I'm sorry but I just can't do it.

I think I'm going to like this story, Nate reminds me of my own husband. Jennifer McMahon's writing style is very similar to her most recent novel, The Drowning Kind-- it even takes place in Vermont! She definitely has a niche. Love her imagery and how she introduces characters.

My husband and I started this book earlier this year and have been reading it at the dinner table here and there when our daughters aren't being too noisy. I cannot believe it is almost finished! I have learned so much more about the world of Tolkein my husband cares so much for, and I have truly loved all the stories... it feels brought to life. That this really could be the history of our world.
