this book is so fast paced😭. It’s been like a week since the mcs met, yet they are helping each other with panic attacks, flirting constantly, and taking up each other’s each an every thought. they’ve never even actually hung out, they’ve only met a rink four times and two of those were for five minutes total. it also is just not diving deeper into their issues. only their romance😪

I was on page 50 of this book for like four months because I was in the biggest slump ever… but I’m finally getting out and reading! I’m loving this so far; however, I have forgotten what literally everyone can do and who they are so I’m relearning along the way.

i honestly hate this book. there’s a cliche “fighting then kissing in the rain” scene which if normally EAT UPPP but it’s just bad… i don’t like them as a couple. there’s so much miscommunication, neither of them are ready for a relationship, neither of them can communicate. i can’t wait to finish this book.

This is pissing me off really badly. The mmc (Jamie) is SO insecure it’s actually unbearable. He’s also weirdly neglectful?? He didn’t show when his sister arrived so the fmc (Emma) went to go yell at him and then he has a panic attack like bro you literally brought this on yourself. She was calling you out for YOUR actions. He’s so unlikable.

of course they end up together —I’m not stupid enough to think they won’t—but I really, REALLY wish they didn’t. she obviously has a growing hatred, nay resentment, to piano. This instrument has literally ruined and ruled her life. It was a destined path for since both her parents play and her parents playing has made them avoidant of her. She hates it, but can’t persue anything else, and now it has him.

OH GIBSIE I LOVE YOU AND ITS NOT YOUR FAULT UGHH
I truly do like lizzie as a character, I think she’s compelling and interesting, but lord I hate what she just said to gibsie. Peter Biggs did in fact NOT save the wrong child because that is an impossible situation. Still excited for her book, I do believe she can be redeemed in my eyes.

SHADOW IS THE REAL HERO HERE

I’ve heard many good things about this book, but I am in fact judging it by its horrendous cover. I finally am getting over it and starting it, so i hope i’m not let down.

i think this might be my favorite book of TIG universe. averyjameson was adorable (but also weirdly freaky like ok get it lovebirds😭) AND HANNAHTOBY💔 my babies. i love hannah and toby so much it’s not even funny. i can’t wait for their entire book with toby’s POV

I feel bad for Theo… If that happened to me I would’ve lost my mind.

I know it wasn’t Em’s fault but still.

It’s cute, but it’s basically just them constantly saying, “The other must hate me!” Then five seconds later they act like a couple to then once again say, “The other hates me!” That’s basically all that’s happening.

He just plunged a knife into a kids heart for NO REASON then had the audacity to say that he didn’t like killing people? He was also imagining killing peopel literally 2 lines after he said that. I sigh every time it’s his chapter. But smile when I see “Jacks.”

Tandem read the first 5 chapters after reading 15 of Finale and I would totally recommend.

Tella is so much better in this one than she is in any of the other books.

I miss Scarlett. Julian too but not AS much. Other than that, it’s interesting.
