This book is soooo nice, but why does it take me 1 hour to read a chapter. How is this physically even possible?

Omg they're all called the same, it's so confusing

okay so: the language is beautiful, and the plot is captivating, but the pacing is soooo slow and the descriptions are wayyy too long. Like, I know this book is important, but if we ignore its importance and stick to my impression. Bro why are the descriptions of the scenery, belongings of the islands and lineage written in sooo much more depth than the actual plot???

if his journey is alr over, wth am I gonna read about in the next 150 pages???
